Annecy, situated in a glaciar origin basin,  on the shore of well known lake of Annecy, opens through the Alps an itineraty between the mountains "Bauges", "Bornes" and the different valleys leading to Italy.

The city of Annecy has a real history that goes back to the neolithic period. First Genevoise then Spanish, Sicilian, Sardian, Annecy was annexed to France in 1860.

In the course of centuries, Annecy has seen and lodged famous personalities such as François 1er, the bishop of Geneva, Richelieu and the king Louis 13, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, writer and philosopher, Sadi Carnot, engineer and president of the Republic in 1887, the comte Claude Berthollet, chemist, etc…
